Ecoventures: Are you science savvy? Do you like to help others learn? Become an Ecoventure Guide and deliver science experiments to younger girls at council Ecoventure Days. Face it: Are you ready to change the world? Do you see a lot of problems in our society? Are you ready to take action to solve them? Become a Face It Teen Leader! Face It is a group of Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors trained on various social problems so they can deliver workshops to younger girls at council Face It Days. Kids on the Block: Are you ready to perform as the shining star? Do you like acting, drama, and plays? If you would like to combine your love for performance with your desire to help others, this is the program for you! Kids on the Block is a group of Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors who present puppet shows to Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies at council events. Mackinac Island Honor Scouts: Do you bleed green? Do you love giving community service? Are you ready to travel and meet new people? Apply to become a Mackinac Island Honor Scout. Mackinac Island Honor Scouts is a group of 7th through 12th grade girls selected for their commitment to service and leadership experience. Honor Scouts are trained on leadership skills, island history, and tourism in order to serve the Governor's Honor Guard for Mackinac Island State Park. Planning Board: Want to have a say about what happens for teen girls in our council? Your voice counts! You can play an important role in our new council! The Girl Scout Planning Board is open to girls in grades 6 through 12 and plans "just for fun" events for teens in their area. They also play an important role in awards events, do community service projects, and much more! Join an existing board in Muskegon and Grand Rapids, or play in a leading role in starting new Planning Boards!
