WANT TO BE A GIRLSCOUT?
Ok, that probably sounds weird, after all isn't Girl Scouting only for little girls? Nope. Actually, Girl Scouting has many opportunities for teens and they might not be what you’d expect. Rock climbing, hockey, scuba, need we say more?
While we’re on the subject, let’s clear up a couple other misconceptions. Uniforms – nope, not necessary, but can be cool (how about making your own?). Troops – you don’t need to be in one, we’ve got lots of great programs for you as an individual. Though we might add that being part of a troop is a pretty amazing experience. There is nothing greater than friendships that last a lifetime. Normally troops start while in elementary school, but there is no rule that they can’t start in high school…
