| Busy Bee Stop & Swap - SWAP's are "Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere". They can trace their roots to the Native American custom of a ceremonial distribution of gifts. They were introduced to Girl Scouting/Girl Guiding as a way to meet one another. A swap is usually, but not always, a small homemade item that represents the person, their community or their background. In addition to a guided tour of the exhibit, girls will explore their own sense of fashion with a chance to knit a scarf and learn their colors. They will also prepare and put on a fashion show of Historic Girl Scout uniforms that will be open to the public and younger scouts. Girls attending the event will earn the Fashion Design Interest Project Patch.

| Memorial Day Flag Placement - Join Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts to help honor our Veterans with this unique service opportunity by
placing flags on the graves of our fallen Veterans in honor of Memorial Day.
Traditionally the program begins at the band shell with a short service in honor of our Veterans. Then
we will be lead across the street by the color guard to collect our flags and begin placement. Please
allow 1 1/2 - 2 hours for the event (depending on the number of people present). There are over
5,000 graves to place flags. Flag etiquette should be practiced. All troops will be given
instructions on how and where to place the flags. Please come in uniform or Girl Scout attire.
Uniforms are highly recommended for this event.

| Saki Super Workers Weekend - This free camping weekend is for troops/groups that participate in service projects that assist in the closing and opening of Camp Sakakawea. | Super Service Weekend - This free camping weekend is for troops/groups that participate in service projects that assist in the closing and opening of Camp Anna Behrens. Saturday breakfast and lunch are provided as part of the event. Troops/groups will need to cook their own dinner on Saturday evening and Sunday breakfast. Each troop must have an outdoor trained adult and a First Aid/CPR trained adult.

| Inland Seas Schoolship Association - Sail aboard the Inland Seas, a 75-foot tall-masted schooner, for a half day or full day of learning history, culture and ecology of the Great Lakes. Sailing out of Sutton's Bay, trawling for fish, collecting plankton, sampling the bottom, and taking water samples for chemistry tests, you will develop a new stewardship for the Great Lakes ecosystem through hands-on experience. All day sailing includes lunch on board and a trip to Power Island with a hike led by the park ranger and a hunt for Petoskey stones.
