Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore serves more than 17,000 girls, ages 5 - 17, in 30 counties in northern and western Michigan. Girl Scouting helps girls DISCOVER who they are, CONNECT with others locally and globally, and TAKE ACTION to make the world a better place. With a network of more than 4,500 committed volunteers and more than 55 qualified staff members, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives, such as leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.

w research study released! The Girl Scout Research Institute (GSRI) just released its latest research focused on the behavior of teens and tweens today. This fascinating research looks at changes in young peoples' beliefs and values on issues ranging from lying and cheating to drinking and smoking, compared to 20 years ago. This study is nearly identical to one GSUSA commissioned in 1989, and shows that teens today are more ethical and responsible than they were 20 years ago. For the full report, click here.
